Oxford v Lake Orion Recap and Results

The Oxford Wildcats boys Track & Field team were defeated by the Lake Orion Dragons boys 74-54 on Wednesday, April 26 at the OHS track. However, the Oxford 4x800m relay continues to stomp out their competition as freshman Scott Masterson, senior Riley Feeney and juniors Zachariah Smith and Sam McMaken placed first in a personal record of 8:15. The boys 400m was a fantastic race with many athletes posting personal bests. Feeney ran a PR of 51.47 taking first while Masterson also ran a PR in 53.19 placing third. Feeney also set a new PR(2:03) in the 800m placing second. In a photo finish, the 4x200m relay team of seniors Gage Cabanillas, Ethan Moll and Chris Hankins with junior Peter Bagans

Oxford v Adams Recap and Results

The Oxford Wildcat Boys Track and Field are now 2-0 with a victory against Rochester Adams on Wednesday, April 19 at Rochester Adams HS. In the Field, Junior Shot Putters Ben Krause (45’9”), Rick Galbraith (44’6”) and Parker Fleming (44’1”) swept the event while in the Discus, Krause claimed first (129’7”) and Galbraith set a new Personal Record by nearly 5 ft with a throw of 128’10” to place second. In the High Jump Fleming jumped a personal best of 6’2” to take first. Sophomore Anthony Romeo (5’8”) placed 2nd and senior, Ray Luvine (5’6”), shared a 3-way tie for 3rd to claim 8.33 of a possible 9 points in the event. Senior Tray Huntsman (19’7”) placed second in the Long Jump to round out
